Jayne Snyder, PT, DPT, MA
Jayne L Snyder, PT, DPT, MA, is owner and founder of Snyder Physical Therapy, PC. She has a Master Degree from Stanford University in Physical Therapy, and recently received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at A.T. Still University in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Snyder is past president of the Nebraska Physical Therapy Association, Foundation of Physical Therapy and past vice-president of the American Physical Therapy Association. She has an extensive background and education in orthopedics and sports medicine, and currently teaches research-based knee rehabilitation to other physical therapist across the country. Jayne actively treats patients at Snyder Physical Therapy, PC with specialty techniques acquired from 34 years of clinical experience. Dr. Snyder currently teaches part-time at the Department of Physical Therapy, Creighton University, Omaha, NE.
Jennifer Peterson, PT, DPT
Jennifer Peterson, PT, DPT, is a graduate of Duke University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She is a Lincoln native graduating from Lincoln Southeast High School in 1999 before obtaining her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Following physical therapy school she returned to her home state of Nebraska and worked in outpatient orthopedics in Omaha before joining Snyder Physical Therapy, P.C. She has specific interests in treating shoulder, neck, and knee pain as well as pediatrics and patient education.
She is currently continuing her education in the field of manual therapy, including specialized techniques in joint mobilizations and soft tissue massage. Dr. Peterson is a former gymnast and gymnastics coach and has experience working with gymnasts on injury prevention, injury assessment, and treatment. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and its orthopedic section. In her spare time she enjoys running, swimming, and biking and has completed two Olympic length triathlons.
Jay Spracklen, PT
Jay Spracklen, PT is a graduate of the University of North Dakota School of Physical Therapy. He has over 29 years of experience with orthopedic rehabilitation, work related injuries, and manual therapy. He is also certified in ergonomic assessment and has performed Functional Capacity Assessments for the last 10 years. Jay has been in private practice for the last 10 years and has developed programs in women's health, chronic pain control, and injury prevention for the industrial athlete.
Jay was a competitive gymnast for 12 years and an assistant coach for 5 years. He grew up as a working cowboy in Wyoming and after graduating from physical therapy school, enjoyed treating the rodeo cowboys in the Black Hills area. He continues to enjoy watching gymnastics and rodeo, but has long since hung up his hand grips and rope.
Jay is a long time member of the American Physical Therapy Association and in 1999 was awarded the Outstanding Clinical Educator of the Year by the University of South Dakota Physical Therapy School.
